Vested Interests!

*Sings Uh-huh, you know what it is, black and yellow, black and yellow*

We’re almost midway into December, and all the wedding shenanigans, Christmas preparations must have already begun. I don’t about you, but I love how crazy it gets. In the midst of all this craziness, there are times when I literally don’t have an outfit in mind and I’m probably expected to leave in about a couple of minutes. Imagine the horror, when you simply can’t think of something to wear. The outfit in this post is the outcome of last minute rummages through my closet. So definitely stock up tons of basics in your wardrobe. With good basics, you’ll have an endless number of options.

Since our Bombay weather doesn’t make you go all brrr….. I decided to layer it with light fabrics. So, you can totally switch it with a heavier blazer vest to keep you warm. Here, I’m wearing a sheer sleeveless shirt as a vest. Give me black any day and I’ll be a happy girl! But to break the monotony of black in my ensemble, I went in for a mustard yellow basic tee from H&M. You can totally rock this outfit at the airport; just swap the heels with sneakers for a super comfy look.  And well ‘Lazy is the new effort’, so don’t panic when you have nothing to wear. Just put together these simple basics, layer up and you’ll look fabulous effortlessly.
