Somehow I always gravitate towards anything and everything that has stripes on it. Today’s post features yet another outfit testifying my love for them. Speaking of the outfit, I love pieces that I can throw on and go, and this midi dress is one such clothing item. Basically, not trying too hard yet looking all put together. You could say the dress woke up like that. Vertical stripes are elongating, while horizontal stripes make one look wider. But the trick here is to keep in mind the length of your dress. The midi length definitely helps make you look taller as opposed to a shorter horizontal striped dress.
Accessories have the power to dress up or dress down an outfit. So team it up with stuff depending on the look you’re trying to achieve. Here, I wanted a laidback college look; hence I opted for a tan backpack and slip ons. I’ve literally been living in these black casual slip ons lately. I cannot tell you how comfortable they are!
